What is Enforcers™ anyway?

A number of years ago, a group of us felt that there was a need for a super powered role playing system that allowed control of the characters powers and abilities, did not involve extensive use of fractions (although a calculator will be useful), where a character could take more then 50 hits and survive, and where a combat with 8 or 9 characters and a group of NPC's could be resolved in less then an afternoon. We also wanted a system that had more flexibility then was allowed for using D20, but did not require having every kind of die made.

The results were a game that allowed the player to create a character with powers of their own choosing, and maintained a balance so that characters of similar experience would be of similar capabilities overall. This is not to say that all characters are alike, or equivalent at a given experience level, only that well crafted characters will often be on a par in a battle situation.

The game is played using a D100 and 2 D6. Yet characters can do hundreds of points of damage without rolling dice all afternoon. The combat system also allows for the possibility of critical hits and fumbles, which we feel makes it more interesting.

Enforcers™ allows for campaigns to start at very low power levels and progress, or to start at higher power levels and still progress. You can build Spider Man®, Batman®, Superman®, or even Godzilla®, as long as the Game Master lets you have enough experience to start with. And the system is open ended. While tables are supplied for easy character creation at all reasonable statistic levels, the formulas are supplied so that any table can be extended as far a needed for your campaign. (We make Lotus 123 and Excel workbooks available on this website for download so that all you have to do is plug in the data and let the computer do the rest. This is also handy for the occasional disaster when a player looses his or her character sheet, just print a replacement!)

     This game manual has 112 pages of Powers, Weaknesses, Spells, and Combat System details. Tables for character statistic calculations are included, as are all formulas so that the system is completely open-ended.
